Plenary Speaker:  Kathy Lobo

Kathy Lobo is an ESL teacher with experience in both private and public schools in the US as well as in Australia, Hong Kong and Japan.  Presently she is an ESL teacher at the Day Middle School (grade 6-8) in Newton Massachusetts, and she is an Adjunct Professor at Brandeis University and Lesley University in Waltham and Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Kathy has extensive experience conducting workshops and making presentations that includes visits in Australia, China, Sudan and the United States. She has served on professional boards for the Massachusetts Association of Bilingual Educators (MABE) and the Massachusetts Educators of English Language Learners (MATSOL).  Presently she serves on the Board of Directors for TESOL International.
